United Methodist Youth Fellowship
This Sunday evening youth group is open to 6th-12th graders and meets from 5:30 - 7 PM and dinner is included. Experience fellowship, outreach, worship and educational opportunities with teens just like you who want to know God in a real way.
Acts of God – The Drama team is open to youth 6th-12th grades and meets Tuesdays beginning Sept. 11th at 6:15 PM. Join us to help tell the Gospel story in creative and fun ways.
Youth Bible Study – Enhance your Sunday school/UMYF experience with this small group Bible study. Open to youth grades 8th-12th and meets Tuesdays, beginning Sept. 11th from 7-8:30 PM.
Confirmation Class
A confirmation class is offered each year to youth, grades 6 and up, who wish to learn what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. Topics covered include Church history, United Methodist history, membership, worship, and life decisions. The class is traditionally offered late winter to spring. Outside of the programs already listed, Asbury’s youth can become involved in many other areas of church life:
- Sunday School classes for every age group
- Acolytes, Crucifer and Bible Bearers in worship
- Church mission projects and trips
- Holiday parties and activities
- Seasonal plays and musicals
- Nursery & childcare volunteers (ages 16 & above)
- Youth choirs and youth handbell choir
