John Wesley: Foundations of Methodism

John Wesley (June 17, 1703-March 2, 1791) stands as one of the most influential voices in the establishment and development of Methodism. In our efforts to further our understanding of the founding principles of Methodism, a study of the precepts advanced by Wesley seems invaluable.
Towards this end, the Evangelism Committee of Asbury United Methodist Church will be offering a 10-week class addressing Wesley. The comprehensive syllabus will address Wesley’s lifelong devotion to the church and the principles he developed upon which contemporary Methodism is based.
The class will be taught at Asbury on Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 8 PM. The sessions will commence on February 16th and conclude on April 26th. There is no charge for the class. A small paperback book will be provided at a minimal charge and lecture notes will be handed out at no cost to participants. A sign-up sheet has been placed near the church offices. Please note name and contact information.

Blessings,   John Stone
