Upcoming Music & Arts Events

Please join us for the following events:

Asbury is hosting a group art show in the Hospitality Center adjacent to the sanctuary and offices. The theme of the show is Participating With the Creating Spirit which celebrates the visual art work of people of all ages and physical abilities.  Jim Harris, Associate Pastor for Congregational Care at Bridgewater UMC, is featured along with retired pastor, Kathy Pigg who serves Asbury as Artist in Residence.  Work by elementary children who were present in Sunday School on July 11th gives images and words to the story of Jesus feeding the 5000.  Also featured is the work of long time survivor of MS, Lori Konkle, who died in 2007 and is the sister of an Asbury member. The show is open on Sundays and during church office hours, 8:30 AM – 4 PM, on Monday - Thursday and 8:30 AM – Noon on Fridays through Sept. 3rd. Regular daily office hours, 8:30 AM – 4 PM, resume on Sept. 7th. The show will run through Sunday, Sept. 19th.

This event is designed to accommodate both the music reader and the non-music reader and those who have never been exposed to handbells or hand chimes.
